Low Moods

Low Mood is a very common problem and many people feel low or down in the dumps at times. Often loneliness and social withdrawal are indicators of this and can be due to the following:

  • Peer relationships
  • Family problems
  • Pressures of school
  • Fear of not living up to others expectations
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Low self esteem
  • Negative thoughts

It may seem that nothing can be done to make you feel better, but there are things that CAN be done to make a difference.

Speak to your family, tutor, Learning Manager, Wellbeing Team, NHS School Nurse during drop in or your GP.

Drop in can be accessed every lunchtime in school from 1.00pm-1.30pm at the Wellbeing Office.
